I’ve been thinking about this for the past year. Most people I know spend much more time on facebook and twitter than anything else. If I write a blog post, I get anywhere from 15 to 100 page views and most of them won’t comment. However, if I write a “note” on facebook and “tag” some people in the note, it is more likely to generate interest and people are more likely to comment. I think it has something to do with the fact that people like their name to be mentioned – and others like to see what their friends are up to, so when they see “Joe Schmoe” has commented on “Susy Q’s” note “Pickles or peanut butter”, they want to check out what all the fuss is about.
So, what do you think, are blogs dead? Should I shut this one down and transition entirely to facebook? Maybe I’ll know the answer if no one comments (!). :)

So, I usually don’t do software reviews or recommendations, but once in a while a product comes along that makes me want to tell other people about it. Evernote is such a product.
From the website: “Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere.”
And that doesn’t begin to describe the awesomeness of this little app. I use it to record song ideas onto my phone on the go, type grocery lists at home, snap a photo of my parking space (geo-tagged for later), and all kinds of other things… Check it out!! www.evernote.com

So, I’m recording some demos and had no pop filter. And because I have nothing brilliant to say at the moment, I thought I’d wow you with my jerry-rigging abilities.
